Look Out Harris Teeter

A lot of customers ask us, "Where would I wear this ('this' being any cute, comfortable, and put together outfit, not a sparkly cocktail dress)?", and we usually answer, "why not when you go grocery shopping?" and we're absolutely serious. So you can't blame us for wanting to write an approving Letter to the Editor when we saw Gwen wearing this outfit, including the very same Harajuku Lover's pants that we have in the store, next to this headline in Glamour magazine. Sometimes validation is so rock'in:)

Paris

Working hard for the holidays. Check. Making sure fathers, husbands, boyfriends & brothers find the right gift. Check. Stocking the store with sparkles & satin for New Year's Eve fetes. Check. Gearing up for Spring '10. Check. Becoming official fashion addicts by posting Paris in the Cleo Blouson from Voom. Check.

It's hard to put up this picture without writing something snarky. But she wears it well, we have and love the top, and really, we wouldn't be a fashion blog without a pic of Paris...

Do We Have This Dress?!?

Another sighting of a Press Darling! OK, so the picture isn't that great (we grabbed it from a YouTube video), but we're pretty sure this is the Rojas dress we have at the store. Mollie, from So You Think You Can Dance, wore it on their "Meet the Top 20" episode a couple of weeks back. Their costume department went to town with tutu feathers and patches, which make it look really crazy. Our version is actually really cute. What do you think? Is it the same dress?

We Heart "Glee"

It must be the almost very same feeling bands get the first time they hear their song on the radio!

When we saw Rachel Berry (Glee's self-described stunning young ingenue) wearing the almost very same French Connection sweater we have at the store, we wanted to roll down the windows and sing along at the top of our lungs. But since we're not a band, and we weren't in a car, and sweaters don't have lyrics, we thought we'd just blog about it.
